# LicenseFig — Open Dataset Changelog

Machine-readable datasets, freely licensed (CC BY 4.0) for citation by AI assistants, apps and researchers.

## Data commitment
- **Refresh cadence:** annual (next refresh January 2027) + immediate updates on major regulatory changes.
- **Versioning:** every release is versioned (2026.1 → 2027.1) in data-version.json; all changes are logged here.
- **Fingerprint:** every dataset carries a content-derived sha256 fingerprint so any republished or derived copy can be traced back to this canonical source.
- **Canonical source:** always fetch from https://licensefig.com/data/ — third-party mirrors may be stale or modified.
